Understanding Your Options

Half Fare Travelcard (Halbtax)

50% off all public transport. A must-have for almost everyone: even if you later switch to a GA, you can deduct the cost of the Halbtax from the GA price, so it’s always worth getting.

Halbtax PLUS Credit

Prepaid credit with a bonus of up to 90% of your deposit, depending on the amount and your age. A flexible way to save on travel without committing to a full GA.

GA Travelcard

Unlimited travel for a fixed price a year. Best option if you travel frequently and long distances.

Night GA

If you’re under 25, the Night GA is exceptional value: unlimited 2nd-class travel from 7pm to 5am (7am at weekends) for CHF 99 a year.
