Our Mission
Switzerland is one of the best places to live, but it comes with a learning curve. From mandatory health insurance to cantonal tax systems, every newcomer faces the same questions — and reliable answers are hard to find. KantonLand exists to change that. We give you the information, calculators, and step-by-step guides you need to make confident decisions, whether you just arrived or have been here for years.
Our Story
We moved to Switzerland ourselves. After years of figuring things out the hard way — comparing insurance plans in languages we barely spoke, decoding tax forms, and asking the same questions everyone asks — we decided to put everything we learned in one place. KantonLand started as the resource we wished we had on day one.
Today it brings together 29 guides and 5 free tools in 5 languages, based on official sources such as the FOPH, ch.ch and cantonal authorities.
